[IC Design] AMS Circuit Design Engineer

🔹 Overview

We are looking for an experienced AMS Circuit Design Engineer to contribute to the development of high-speed memory interfaces and SerDes solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced analog and mixed-signal circuit design while collaborating closely with verification, software, and customer teams to ensure optimal product performance.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in high-level product specification, microarchitecture definition, and implementation for high-speed memory interfaces.

  • Design and deliver AMS circuits in SerDes, including evaluation and selection of optimal circuit topologies.

  • Develop and implement complex analog and mixed-signal blocks such as bandgap references, bias circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, comparators, switched capacitor circuits, ADCs, DACs, oscillators, filters, and Tx/Rx equalization circuits (de-emphasis, CTLE, DFE, CDR).

  • Contribute to high-speed serial and parallel interface design, including serializers, deserializers, counters, and dividers.

  • Collaborate with verification teams for lab debugging and validation activities.

  • Partner with software teams and/or customers to address system-level challenges, perform debugging, and optimize performance.

🔹 Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • At least 4 years of ASIC design experience for staff-level roles, and 6+ years for senior-level roles, with strong familiarity with ASIC development processes.

  • Proven expertise in AMS circuit design and hands-on experience using industry-standard EDA tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, Hspice/Spectre, and static timing analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with high-speed interface protocols such as DDR, SerDes, and PCIe is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer issues and deliver timely results.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
