Indirect Tax Analyst

Job description

A leading global investment management firm is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to join its expanding tax team in Bangalore. This newly created role supports UK and international indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and reports to the Indirect Tax Manager (UK).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze data for VAT, GST, QST, and related filings (ECSL, Intrastat, etc.).

  • Coordinate with external service providers to review indirect tax returns and ensure timely submissions.

  • Maintain a compliance calendar and manage indirect tax payments globally.

  • Support tax audits by preparing and providing required documentation.

  • Contribute to tax process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage tax compliance budgets, accruals, and vendor engagements.

  • Maintain process documentation and ensure an effective tax record management system.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Legal on cross-functional tax matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified with indirect tax compliance and reporting experience, preferably within a professional services or financial firm.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Proactive, self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
