Infrastructure & Cloud Services Program Director

Our client is a leading insurance firm with over 70 years of history and enjoys a strong global presence, with their APAC headquarters based in Singapore.

Due to a newly created enterprise-wide program being created, they are currently looking for a Infrastructure & Cloud Services Program Director in their Enterprise Wide IT Infrastructure function to lead this major program.

Reporting to the Group Head of Technology & Operations, you will be accountable for creating a new Target Operating Model, setting up the program management office from scratch and spearhead this programme to improve the overall service quality and governance for the wider IT Infrastructure business across Asia. You will also be responsible for setting up the Public Cloud Services & Operations for the wider Group. Upon completion of this 18 to 24 months programme, the role will transit into a Group Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations and oversee day to day IT Infrastructure & Operations for Asia Pacific.

To qualify, you must have the following:

  • Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or other related fields of study
  • Has at least 15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure at Enterprise level, with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience as Head of IT or Deputy Head
  • Strong background in managing day to day IT infrastructure & operations across Asia, including areas such as Data Centre, Network, Servers etc.
  • Strong experience in setting up public cloud services from scratch, either Azure or GCP
  • Proven track record in managing senior stakeholders at the Group and Management level across various business units
  • Experience working in the financial services industry
  • Holds certifications in Microsoft Azure or GCP would be a plus
