Investment Analyst (Quantitative), Real Estate Fund

Job description

A global REITs firm is hiring for a new Real Estate Investment Analyst.

Reporting to the Group Head, Fund Management & Capital, this is a newly created headcount for the whole firm. The incumbent will develop fund, financial models and rollups. He/she needs to be very strong in financial analysis and quantitative data analysis as they would need to roll up data from all the countries and analyse promotes and forecast fees. Usage of Excel and VAB will be critical for this role, and the individual will be using Argus/Yardi systems on a day to day basis. There will be a lot of stakeholder management with the broader APAC team and senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from real estate or PE/hedge fund background
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to work through lots of data across geographies
  • Very proficient in Excel/VBA
  • Team player who is eager to learn
