IT Auditor (Ops) - US MNC

Job description

Our client is a reputable and growing US MNC (Consumer sector) with strong presence across the globe. To facilitate their company growth, they are looking for a high calibre IT Auditor to join their Internal Audit Function, your responsibilities will include:


  • Reporting to the Internal Audit Director and being in a small team
  • Responsible for IT operational audit, identifying and minimizing risks areas
  • Improve internal controls especially for pre and post system implementation and to conduct the related testing
  • Review and enhance existing internal audit procedures and risk management for the Group from the regional and global perspectives
  • Perform Audit work including Internal control and projects reviews, drafting audit reports, reviews on business applications according to standards
  • Ensure the Risk and Compliance are complied with the Group policy and the standards
  • Being a strong business partner with the internal audit teams (e.g.Risk & Compliance function etc) in other offices
  • Leading audit projects, identifying and resolving the key risk areas especially related to the business operation
  • Assist with the preparation Management and Audit Committee Reporting
  • Communicate with external auditors, regulator and head-office to resolve the assigned projects
  • Travel occasionally for field work is needed (around 30-40%)
  • SOX or US companies experiences is highly preferred (not a must)

To qualify, individuals must possess:


  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline, Qualified accountant. Training in Big4 preferred. Other qualifications, including CIA, CISA etc. are preferred.
  • At least 8 years working experiences with MNCs or conglomerate experiences
  • Team leading experiences is needed
  • Strong team player with excellent business acumen
  • Details-minded, analytical and structured
  • Excellent communication and business partnership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Strong command of languages especially English
  • Occasional Travel with travel allowances
