IT Infra Manager (Financial Services)

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to act as a key bridge between Portfolio Managers and Infrastructure Technology teams. This role is crucial in ensuring clear communication, prioritization of technology needs, and seamless deployment of infrastructure solutions to support bespoke investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between Portfolio Managers and Infrastructure Technology teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document technical requirements to support investment strategies.
• Identify and recommend suitable infrastructure components (on-premise & cloud-based) to meet business needs.
• Coordinate and oversee the deployment of infrastructure solutions across multiple technology teams.
• Provide estimated timelines for deployments and maintain a prioritized book of work.
• Track and report progress, ensuring alignment with business expectations.

Key Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure project management within financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cross-team projects and drive them to completion.
• Strong technical understanding of infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage, and PCs.
• Hands-on experience with Linux & Windows administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure & Office 365.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
