IT Specialist, 12 Months Contract

Client: MNC, Manufacturing industry

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues, including Microsoft Office Suite, Lenovo ThinkPad laptops (mobile thin clients), mobile devices (Apple, Samsung, Google), MES (Andon systems), access control systems, CCTV, Wi-Fi connectivity, and printers
Set up and configure desktops, laptops, user accounts, and system access for employees
Maintain accurate IT inventory records and documentation
Perform basic network checks and support office IT infrastructure and equipment
Conduct routine system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance tasks
Deliver on-site user support and escalate complex technical issues to the central IT team when required.
Support employee onboarding by preparing IT equipment, email accounts, and access credentials
Assist in learning and supporting the Syteline ERP system for day-to-day operations.
Any other adhoc duties assigned by manager.

Requirements

Diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant IT support experience (5+ years preferred for more senior candidates)
Hands-on experience across multiple IT domains, such as networking, end-user computing, security, and cloud environments
Ability to work independently in an on-site environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
