Junior Finance Executive

My client is a well-established engineering firm in Singapore, currently implementing Oracle NetSuite across its office and project sites. They're looking for a Finance Executive to support the rollout and handle core accounting operations. It's a good role for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of accounting and systems, with plenty of exposure to a live implementation.

What you'll do

• Support the NetSuite setup, testing and rollout - including user support, training and helping communicate process updates and system guidance to office and site staff
• Liaise with the software vendor, IT and users to help resolve system issues and escalate where needed
• Assist in reporting standards, GST and income tax reporting
• Support finance system enhancement projects
• Process AP: verify supplier and subcontractor invoices, review petty cash and staff reimbursement claims, and run payment batches per company procedures
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to management and Head Office
• Support the annual audit, income tax computation and GST audits

What they're looking for

• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite
• 2-5 years of AP / full set of accounting background
• Familiarity with Singapore GST and income tax
• Comfortable working across finance, IT and external vendors
• Experience in construction / engineering environment is a plus
