Legal Executive

Our client is an international MNC in the consumer goods and retail space with both ecommerce and brick and mortar offerings.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Legal Counsel based in Singapore you will provide legal advice and support several entities and business units based in Singapore. You will be involved with contract and agreement management, including assisting with drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts. Ensure Compliance with laws and regulatory frameworks. You will take a lead in the area of product Compliance, partnering closely with internal teams to register and ensure approvals to protect brands and products. You will also work closely with the External Company Secretary regarding company secretarial matters. As required you will help the legal counsel with providing legal and compliance training and other adhoc matter.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Law

3-5 years legal experience

Knowledge or exposure to corporate secretarial and/or product compliance is an advantage

Excellent communication and writing skills

Meticulous, detail-oriented, deadline driven with strong planning and project management skills.

Energetic and willingness to learn new things

Motivated person who can work well independently and as part of a team.
