Key Responsibilities Include:

Client Projects

  • Responsible for ensuring client deliverables are delivered on time and meet or exceed client expectations
  • Be able to present sound and well considered opportunities to clients, and to anticipate and respond to client challenges
  • Take on smaller project management roles or lead project work-streams
  • Develop strong client relationships and be acknowledged as an expert by the client
  • Perform virtually all steps of specific opportunity investigation from opportunity identification through to client interviews, information gathering and business case development.
  • Oversee the data analysis phases of projects, including preparation of data extracts, interrogation of data, and presentation of data analysis back to client stakeholders

Internal Capability Development

  • Manage or mentor more junior members of project teams
  • Assume a support role in internal group activities, product development, and committees
  • Transfer knowledge to other members of the group and supports product development where applicable

Business Development

  • Undertake research into various topics including industry trends, evaluation of new international markets, evaluation of new consulting opportunities as appropriate
  • Develop the core FPS consulting proposition by identifying opportunities to re-package consulting experiences into new marketable products and services
  • Create additional value for clients by developing new insights and advice based on knowledge of the clients, the industry and established practices

Skills Required

The successful candidate must have demonstrable skills and experience in price and product optimisation in financial services gained from a top-tier management consultancy or top-tier bank. Must also have the following skills:

  • Excellent numeracy, quantitative and analysis skills
  • Strong knowledge of retail financial services and/or credit card products and pricing
  • Ability to engage and develop strong working relationships with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly resourceful
  • Able to work on own and as part of a teamEducation / Experience Required
  • Strong academic background, including a first degree preferably with numerical/quantitative and commercial bias
  • Advanced degree/MBA/PhD in Business/Economics or quantitative subject, desirable
  • Retail Banking/Financial Services product management experience
  • Management Consultancy experience, desirable
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written is required
  • Fluency in another SE Asian language will be beneficial
  • International work experience will be an advantage
