Market Risk Specialist (Commodities)

A leading commodities firm is hiring a Market Risk Specialist who would play a key role in supporting risk management projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Head of Risk, you would support major system projects related to risk management
• Perform daily position exposure monitoring and reporting
• Work with traders to perform research and analysis on market structure and price movements
• Daily PnL computation and validation
• Liaise with operations and finance team on trade & cost capture

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years' relevant working experience in a similar role
• Exposure to dry bulk products (metals, ore, coal) preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in finance or relevant discipline
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good understanding of financial markets cash and derivative products
• Strong knowledge of commodities trading business, market data, and pricing/revaluation
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
