Market/Liquidity Risk Controller

Job description

A renowned Cryptocurrency Exchange is hiring a Market/Liquidity Risk Controller

As this firm is on growth-mode they are actively hiring across various functions, and want to ensure their Risk Management team is well-established. As such, they are looking for a versatile Risk controller who is able to monitor market risk monitoring, and also improve on the liquidity stress tests. He/she will be monitoring risk management policies and identifying risk tools to monitor and measure the market risks. The incumbent is expected to identify potential risk exposures and recommend solutions to the trading team proactively.

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in market/liquidity risk in a Trading/Investment firm or banking
  • Experience working closely with traders/portfolio managers
  • Background in risk control or monitoring of risks on trading floor
  • Excellent academic qualifications, including a minimum of Bachelors in Mathematics/Economics or related fields
  • Understanding of risk management policies and guidelines governing the Crypto/Digital currency domain
  • Team player, who is versatile and adaptable
