[Medical Device] Senior R&D Design Engineer

Job description

Role Overview
Lead new product development and enhancements for medical devices, covering concept design, DHF activities, and cross-functional collaboration to improve cost, quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop product designs based on customer needs

  • Manage new product development activities and DHF documentation

  • Enhance existing products through feedback and internal inputs

  • Provide technical support to cross-functional teams

  • Drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery

  • Support project management for new designs

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Ideal Requirements

  • Degree or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering

  • 5+ years' experience in the medical device industry

  • Strong background in mechanical design, complex plastic parts, and medical standards

  • Proficient in Creo and innovative product design

  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 or FDA QSR design controls

  • Familiar with plastic injection molding and metal machining
