Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Banker

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent and holistic mortgage solutions to meet clients' home ownership needs
  • Be motivated, result-oriented and sales-driven to meet individual sales targets
  • Establish individual sales networks and be confident in working with intermediaries such as various internal and external business partners, i.e., Business Development Managers, Relationship Managers, Financial Advisors, Property Agents and Mortgage Brokers
  • Build relationships with new/existing clients by providing excellent service to build customer loyalty and seek referrals to grow the business
  • Ensure proper procedures and documentation when assessing loan applications of clients
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales targets, Net Promoter Score etc.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:Experience in sales and financial sector preferred

  • Working knowledge of related financial regulations and mortgage transaction structure will be advantageous
  • General understanding of regulatory compliance, guidelines, and regulations
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Enjoy flexible working to be able to build up sales networks, particularly at assigned show flats, and to obtain new sources of lead generation
  • Effective time management, problem-solving and negotiation skills
