[Oil & Gas Project] Piping Supervisor - Taichung/Taiwan based
Job description
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESULTS:
1. Receive " Safety Induction Course"
2. Receive the instruction of the job to be performed as his duties from the Piping Manager.
3. Receive the orientation of the field office function from Admin. Manager.
4. Receive the safety induction course from Safety Control Manager / Supervisor.
5. Review the latest status of "For Construction Drawings "and "Specifications For Construction ", and ensure that the same latest Drawings and Specifications are in use by the subcontractor, and if not make sure the subcontractor collects the latest issues.
6. Report of the document status to the Discipline Manager.
7. Attend meetings directed by Discipline Manager.
8. Monitor subcontractor's work (refer to the Check List prepared at Construction Department) and direct for correction and report it to discipline manager.
9. Coordinate interfacing work with other discipline supervisors
10. Attend inspection for QC and input the results of inspection daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
11. Check the progress report prepared by the subcontractor and input the progress, daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
12. Issue NCR ( Non Conformance Report) or any other type of defective report
13. Upon receipt of NCR or similar type of report from client, 3r party or authorities, identify and conduct corrective action supervising discipline supervisor or subcontractors
14. Punching and verification of the system punch
15. Regular status reporting of the above works to discipline manager
16. Material inspection in prior to the commencement of the works, in compliance of the applicable drawings and specification.
17. Permit To Work (PTW) preparation, application and negotiation till successfully obtain the PTW.
18. Review and evaluation of JSA and any work permit prepared by subcontractor
REQUIREMENT:
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering college
- 3-4 years of experience in Piping in the oil and gas or relecant construction project business
- With knowledge of piping drawings, P&I diagram, Line index, Specifications and Procedures, names and functions of piping parts.
