Operations Associate (Container)

Our client, an established global commodity trading firm, is looking for an Executive to be part of their team managing end-to-end trade operations for Food Ingredients & Packaging. The scope includes handling and managing shipping documents, managing documents for LC application and bank negotiation, vessel tracking on cargo readiness and documentation to ensure smooth delivering of the commodity products.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Commodity Operations, handling Container shipments
• Handled import and export shipping documents
• Experienced in liaising with banks, shipping agents, customers, and ship owners
• Positive working attitude and strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vessel agents, and international stakeholders
• Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with customers and stakeholders in China
