Operations Engineer (Day & Night Shift)

Our client is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. They are now keen to look for an Operations Engineer who can work shifts. The job location is West Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to operate the plant equipment to manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) based on established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Assist in all aspects of safety, quality and operation investigation and support the shift operation in all activities.
• Support to ensure that all operation and maintenance activities are in compliance to the safety procedures for Lock out/Tag out, energy control procedures, line breaking activities, confine space entry, work at height, hot and cold work permitting.
• Participate in all troubleshooting activities in processing issues, deviations and coordinating with other functions when require immediate and preventive actions.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Support the development of risk assessment, creation of job safety assessment when required.
• Assist in all commissioning, qualification and validation activities as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Science.
• Preferably 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in Pharmaceutical / Chemical / Petrochemical industry.
