Pricing Manager

Our client is a global shipping, logistics, and port group. To develop more complex international forwarding solutions, they are now keen to look for a Pricing Manager, to develop a core pricing and carrier engagement capability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop direct carrier relationships
• Establish an internal database and rate management system with rates and service options
• Support ocean product development, product pricing, and tariff management
• Carrier and contract Management
• Support RFQ and bid process
• Develop a Rate Management System
• Develop and lead Tender Management process
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years experience in pricing functions with a logistics services provider
• Strong carrier relationships across key trades
• Familiarity with Rate Management Systems
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills to support carrier bids and tenders
