Principal Data Scientist

My client, an established financial institution, is looking for a Lead/Principal_Data Scientist in their Singapore office.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team with effective leadership to build strong data capabilities.
• Oversee end-to-end financial data analytics and ensure timely delivery of results.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders regionally to develop and implement data strategies that drive business growth.
• Spearhead the evaluation of new technologies and their potential impact on the organization.

Requirements

• Possess over 8 years of experience in similar roles as a data analyst or data scientist.
• Experienced in hands-on data model forecasting.
• Possess a solid understanding of Hadoop, ETL, Python, Alteryx, Dataiku, SAS, R, SQL, and other relevant tools and technologies.
• Exhibit strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Familiarity with cloud technology is a plus.
