We are looking for a senior-level RF MEMS and Metamaterials specialist to lead the design, development, and advancement of next-generation RF technologies. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility, working across research, engineering, and product teams to translate innovation into real-world RF solutions.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work while also guiding teams, shaping technical direction, and influencing long-term technology roadmaps.
Lead the design, development, and optimization of RF MEMS-based solutions, including switches, impedance tuners, phase shifters, and antennas
Drive end-to-end RF MEMS development across the full product lifecycle, from concept and simulation to prototyping, testing, and validation
Build and oversee experimental platforms to evaluate RF performance and reliability
Conduct RF, EM, and MEMS simulations to guide design decisions and improve performance
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (RF, mechanical, electrical, materials, and software) to integrate MEMS technologies into products
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and researchers
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and academic research in RF MEMS and metamaterials
Support technology strategy, roadmap planning, and feasibility assessments for future products
Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related discipline
Strong hands-on experience in RF MEMS design and development for RF applications
Solid understanding of RF MEMS components such as switches, impedance tuners, phase shifters, antennas, or metamaterials
Experience with RF measurement and test equipment (e.g. VNA, spectrum analyser)
Proficiency in MEMS and EM simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS, COMSOL, HFSS, CST)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, R&D-driven environment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
