Principal System Validation Engineer

Your responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end validation of complex SoC platforms across pre- and post-silicon phases.
  • Define and execute system validation strategies - including test plans, coverage models, and automation frameworks.
  • Spearhead emulation and prototyping efforts using industry-standard platforms.
  • Develop and scale automated test environments to drive efficiency and coverage.
  • Troubleshoot multi-domain issues across hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

Key expectations

  • 8 years and above in SoC system validation or development space.
  • Experience of C/C++ Programming and other test script development language.
  • Good understanding of pre-silicon validation using FPGA/emulation platforms and post-silicon lab-based validation.
  • Hands-on with Ethernet/IP networking protocols, system-level bring-up, and debugging.
  • Good foundation in SoC architecture, RTL understanding, and multi-core embedded platforms (ARM, ARC, DSPs).
  • Familiar with network testing tools like Spirent, Ixia, or equivalents.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong mentoring and communication skills.
