A leading US manufacturing MNC company is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in driving the procurement strategy forward.

Role Overview:

As a Procurement Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Procurement Head to shape and execute our company's procurement strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring procurement compliance, managing sourcing activities, driving supplier performance, contract management, and enhancing procurement systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Negotiation: Lead all sourcing activities and commercial negotiations for site requirements, ensuring prompt and advantageous procurement interventions.

  • Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for direct materials, fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Alternate Sourcing: Explore alternate sourcing options and conduct commercial discussions for key materials, focusing on cost-effectiveness and business continuity.

  • Commercial Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations and project implementations for major CAPEX spending, ensuring successful contract execution.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve savings targets and enhance procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of procurement experience in a cross-functional environment, preferably within a manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Ariba is advantageous.
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
