Working with this high profile financial company you will:

  • Plan, develop, and execute tests against software products, including trading infrastructure components and market connectivity systems
  • Utilize existing test automation frameworks to run automated regression, functional, and load tests
  • Coordinate tests and certify trade flow with trading partners
  • Work closely with the development team to improve overall software quality
  • Develop automated testing frameworks, program test harnesses and testing utilities
  • Design approaches and strategies for regression, load and performance testing of trading infrastructure and market connectivity software
  • Work with the software development teams to build continuous test environments and to make application more testable
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test environments


To be successful in this role you would have the following skills and experience:

  • Several years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer
  • Java or C# programming skills required, experience with other programming languages is highly desired (for the automation testing roles)
  • Knowledge of Unix and Shell, Python or Perl scripting
  • Understanding of database technologies and strong SQL skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Financial Services industry and knowledge of financial products (equities, futures, fixed income, and forex) and familiarity with FIX protocol
