Quant Trader, Cryptocurrency Exchange

A global cryptocurrency exchange is rapidly scaling their teams, and are recruiting for a Quant Trader. This is a newly created headcount, and there is flexibility in remote working.

Being part of the Quant Strategy team, this is a highly exciting opportunity to be apart of the future of FinTech. In the industry, this firm is in the top 5 players. Apart from crypto, they also trade Equities and FX products. As a Quant Trader, the individual will take positions and also assist in the development of high performing trading strategies. Globally, there is a team of 70 and this individual will have an opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals within this domain. Prior experience in crypto isn't necessary.

The successful candidate must have the following:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a trader/market maker across any asset class
• Excellent academic qualifications, including a minimum of Bachelors in Mathematics/Computer science or related fields
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in C++ Python/R programming
• Prior exposure to option pricing is advantageous
• Background in statistics and high-frequency trading
• Thrive in a flat hierarchy, with flexibility in remote working or working from home
