R&D Manager- Advanced Industrial Automation & Smart Systems

What You'll Do

• Lead high-impact R&D initiatives across smart manufacturing, automation, and intelligent control systems.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies to enhance production quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, business teams, startups, and academic partners.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of R&D programs - from concept to scaled implementation, including budget and resource planning.
• Represent the Company at key industry events, forums, and innovation platforms.
• Contribute to IP development through patent filings and technical publications.
• Mentor and grow talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance R&D culture.

What You Bring

• Degree or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial R&D, with 2+ years in a leadership or project/ tech management capacity.
• Hands-on experience or background in software/ AI space.
• Strong grasp of smart manufacturing, control systems, industrial sensing, and AI/ML applications.
• Practical skills in data analytics and programming to support hands-on innovation.
• Experience with startups, new ventures, or digital transformation is a strong plus.
