Regional Business Finance lead, European company

Our client is one of the biggest private own companies in the world in professional service sector.

You will be covering their Asia business finance team with business controllers sitting in different countries reporting to you. You will be working closely with their business units General Managers and reporting to the head of finance for APEC. You will be a strategic partner senior stake holder including Country Managers, Sector Leaders etc. You will need to provide advice and evaluations on key drivers of performance that ultimately influence better decisions from finance perspective. You and your team will need to review financial performance to identify actions, address risk. And support preparation and review of proposals, including assessment of financial aspects of contracts. This role will also need to supervise the production annual budgets and forecasts, strengthen financial controls and compliance, including co-ordination of statutory accounts, tax, and other returns.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Ideally you are Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with minimum of 15 years of experience including at least 5 years team management experience.
• The candidate will have to be open-minded, and capable to adapt to numerous counterparts working in different cultures and various industries.
• Sales driven, positive working attitude with initiative and attention to details is required.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• International experience and exposure with previous experience in Singapore/South East Asia will be highly appreciated
