Regional Demand Planning Analyst

Our client is a biotechnology MNC, who is now keen to look for a Regional Demand Planning Analyst. The permanent roles will be based in the central area, Singapore.

As a regional project analyst, you will be involved in supply chain optimization. A strong planning background with a keen interest for detailed analysis is required. You will be a direct report to regional Supply Chain manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive Regional Supply Chain Strategic Project and Process

  • Conduct network study and analysis in terms of stocking strategy to support operations.
  • Identify areas of improvements and recommend action.
  • Propose and design activity reporting through Key Performance Indicators.
  • Perform gap analysis to determine root cause and drive improvement, using data analytics.
  • Expert in using APO.
  • Liaises and collaborates with other regional or dedicated supply chain member and corporate project team.

Drive Demand Planning and S&OP

  • Jointly lead monthly S&OP meetings.
  • Maintain APO with consensus plan from S&OP output.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and Region Business Manager, so that current and accurate information is used for demand forecast.


  • More than 5 years of experience in demand & supply planning, project management, supply chain related function or equivalent.
  • Experience in Demand Planning and forecasting concepts and strong knowledge of SAP ECC, APO.
  • Demonstrate strong Excel analytical skills. Skilled in data crunching and able to develop management dashboard for reporting, able to generate effective presentation with graphical trend.
  • Good understanding of S&OP system and inventory control methods.
  • Pro-active behavior and good communications.
  • Understand business requirement and stakeholders request and able to drive project or process improvement independently and timely.
