Regional Demand Planning Manager

Our client is a well-known US fashion brand in the retail industry. Their Singapore office serves as their APAC regional office overseeing the business and operations in Asia. To further support their supply chain operation in Asia, they are now keen to look for a Regional Demand Planner Manager to join their planning and allocation team to support the planning functions.

As the Regional Demand Planning Manager you would support the overall business, financial & supply chain management process by rigorous management of the demand signals for the various product types and customer channels. The Regional Demand Planning Manager will need to work with the Regional Brand Management team in the management of the operational demand plan at the aggregate level. Play a key role in the Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by working with the multi-functional. Affiliate Demand Planning team to assure tight alignment in the forecast (which will drive the supply, inventory & production plans) and financial plans.

Reporting to the Planning Director, you will be responsible for pre-season planning in the retail business and in-season tactical adjustment. You will work with merchant team on the quarterly purchase and assortment plan. You will forecast sales, margin and inventory across different regions. You will work with allocation team on merchandising support. You will review market/ sales figures constantly and make recommendations on promotions and markdowns. This is a rare opportunity for candidates with solid demand planning experience on consumer goods to join the growing retail brand.

Looking for candidates who are strong in number crunching. Able to work across multiple brands. Someone who is able to comprise complex numbers into strategic presentation.

To qualify, individuals should possess:

  • Bachelor degree holder
  • At least 8 years experiences in a demand planning role
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and cooperative skills
  • Able to work with senior stakeholders.
