Regional Logistics Director

Job description

Currently working with an US MNC global manufacturer who are currently in a major expansion mode for their Supply Chain operations. Their products reach over half a billion consumers every year and are sold across over 150 countries under different brand names which makes them the market leader in this domain. They're looking for a Regional Logistics Director who manages the distribution to join their team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop plans to ensure that the Distribution and fulfilment centres & 3PL- effectively execute warehousing & order fulfilment processes to meet service, quality, cost, and cash objectives.
  • Lead all outside logistics matters including 3PL contracts and transportation
  • Plan and manage the movement of freight and coordinate with suppliers and distributers to ensure smooth transition.
  • Leads the development of business plans and budgets for the regional distribution functions. Manage expenses to budget expectations.

  • Secure Distribution projects within the region are completed on time and within budget and meeting the delivery objectives of those projects.
  • Collaborate to share knowledge with regional and global team members and partners on Global Distribution best practices and technology trends.

Looking for candidates who have 15 years of experience in managing logistics and distribution centres within the FMCG or Pharmaceutical space. Have regional experience in distribution operations experience in a multi-channel environment, with high SKU count. Would have extensive experience in managing 3PLS working within a matrix structure.
