Regional Logistics Specialist

My Clients are within the Commodities industry are looking for a seasoned Regional Logistics Specialist to join their team. This is a newly created role and would require for this individual to manage overlooking the stock and inventory within their regional warehouses.

Responsibilities:

  • Policy Understanding & Information Collection: Master import/export and customs policies of overseas markets, especially destination countries. Analyze international logistics market trends.
  • Service Provider Management: Expand, evaluate, and manage overseas service providers. Resolve operational issues.
  • Logistics Process Control: Optimize inbound/outbound processes, monitor contract execution, and oversee goods shipment and warehousing. Provide reports and handle logistics matters.
  • Inventory Reconciliation Management: Ensure consistency between accounts and actual stock. Monitor inventory ledgers.
  • Goods Safety Management: Conduct regular inventory checks, inspect storage conditions, and generate reports. Develop improvement measures and ensure goods safety.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing and logistics in the commodity trading industry.
  • Familiarity with international trade and logistics operations, especially in Southeast Asia.
  • Proficiency in office software and strong data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of customs management policies and operational experience with port customs and logistics.
  • Strong risk awareness, dedication, and ability to handle pressure and frequent travel.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
  • Ability to travel to APAC countries and South America

Looking for candidates who have worked within the 3PL industry and have experience in understanding and managing the storage of commodities (e.g. Metals, mining products, coal, etc.), agricultural products or dry products.
