Regional Operations Manager

Our client is a global shipping, logistics, and port group. To meet customer needs, they are now keen to look for a Regional Operations Manager, to develop and manage suitable infrastructure and resources and to ensure operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver P&L targets with the sales team
• Develop an operating plan and an operations and transportation team
• Implement processes from site selection and layout, procurement and negotiation, resource selection and deployment, development of SOPs and monitoring of agreed benchmarks and KPIs
• Manage operational risk and minimise service issues
• Ensure operational efficiency, improve existing operations, and identify potential cost savings opportunities
• Mobility across Singapore

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years experience in operations management with a logistics services provider
• Ability to support DC / transportation management solutions
• Experience in managing provider / 2PL relations within the warehousing and distribution segments
• Ability to manage high-value development projects and logistics infrastructure investments
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and networking
