Regional Supply Chain and Operation Manager

Our client is a top tier world class manufacturer of automation equipments. A new opportunity has arisen reporting to the GM to streamline the current supply chain following lean process improvement principles.

Job Responsibilities:

Demand and Supply Planning

  • Validate monthly sales forecast accuracy with the use of Advanced Planning Schedule tool
  • Manage the collaborative sales forecast process integrating new products forecast, managing the events diary (past & futures markets events and project business forecast)

Stock Optimization

  • Using APS tool, define the replenishment frequencies and size the stock for each warehouse to control warehouse and transportation costs
  • Review local logistic offer & design EMEA supply chain strategies. Considering product life cycles, stock cycle, lead times, variability of sales and reliability of local logistic offer to meet the BU financial objectives

Quality Alerts Management

  • Acting as a real interface with the group Quality department
  • Responsible for creating and communicating quality alert process in cooperation with BA /BU teams. Receiving, reading and communicating quality alerts to the relevant person concerned within the BU's. Taking actions in accordance the instruction sent by Quality Department
  • Responsible for providing instruction to process participants. Report completion of quality alert actions and sending feedback to BA management as well as group Quality department

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Operations, Logistics, International Management, Supply Chain
  • Experience in a supply chain multinational environment within industrial or distribution company
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Planning, Advance Planning Scheduler, Warehouse Management System and ERP system knowledge
  • Planning and warehousing experience
  • Experience in improving business via continuous improvement process review/Lean principles
  • Experience in Managing Technical teams is preferred but not a must
  • Mobility to travel frequently after travel restrictions are lifted
