Description

Our client is a well-established asset management firm, looking for an "Regulatory Advisory Compliance, VP" for their compliance & legal team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Working Location: Central Singapore

*Knowledge in global market products is strongly preferred.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across the company's investment, trading, and operational activities globally.
  • Provide timely and pragmatic regulatory advice to portfolio managers, deal teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulatory trends, developments, and requirements and assist in risk and impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement robust controls and processes for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Handle queries and liaise with external parties such as clients, global regulators, custodians, and broker dealers on compliance and risk issues.

Requirements:

  • 10 to 15 years' relevant work experience in regulatory compliance, central compliance or similar fields. Preferably in the regulators, financial institution, or buyside environment.
  • Solid product knowledge in global markets is strongly preferred (equities, FI, derivatives, real estate, FX, commodities…).
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
