Resourcing Manager, APAC

Job description

Our client is a leading global law firm, looking for a Resource Manager to support their APAC Banking Practice.

Your role will be central to the running of the business, optimising work allocation and achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand clients' needs and deploy lawyers to matters while ensuring effective resourcing decisions
  • Work closely with HR and leadership teams on talent management, and ensure individual preferences and development goals are balanced
  • Maintain skills matrix for new joiners and attend weekly meetings to understand Legal Services capacity
  • Analyse data and maintain report for resource utilisation, availability and skill sets
  • Resolve conflicting demands and handle challenging escalations by junior team members
  • Lead large scale resource allocations with international offices

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years working experience in work allocation, resource management with a large corporate environment. HR professional or Lawyer looking for a career change are welcome to apply too
  • Good understanding of the needs of practice and fee-earner bandwidth, resourcing priorities
  • Excellent influencing, analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
