Risk Analyst (Commodities)

Job description

Our client is a reputable commodity trading firm, looking for a Risk Analyst to join their team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for compliance audits
  • Prepare daily reports for MTM, position limits and VaR
  • Perform KYC for new clients and ensure compliance with company's policies
  • Handle paper trades and liaise with clearing houses
  • Review credit policies and internal business proposals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience in risk within Financial Services industry; oil & gas industry preferred
  • Good understanding of exposure/ stop loss limits
  • Team player, detail oriented and ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python is an added advantage
  • Candidates who require work pass need not apply
