Job description
RNA Scientist (Preclinical R&D/Drug Discovery), Nanjing, China
Our client is a fast-growing Chinese pharmaceutical company. They are now keen to look for an RNA scientist to join their team in Nanjing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the construction of the company's R&D laboratory, participate in the establishment of pre-clinical R&D teams, and be responsible for team training and structural optimization;
- According to the characteristics of the company's technology platform and overall strategy, screen new research and development projects, and be responsible for project establishment and project implementation;
- Responsible for preclinical pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, biodistribution, safety/toxicity test protocol design; analysis and interpretation of non-clinical research data to support project development progress;
- Manage CROs, supervise CROs' test progress, evaluate the drug efficacy and risks of the project, ensure the development progress from drug discovery to pre-IND application, and ensure that the project is executed in accordance with the predetermined plan and budget;
- Participate in the writing and review of IND, NDA and other research and development materials, and support the patent team to carry out patent layout work.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in biomedicine, tumor immunity or immunology. Overseas study background is preferred;
- More than 5 years of working experience in biological pharmaceutical companies, with experience in preclinical research and development of macromolecular drugs, cell gene therapy or nucleic acid drugs;
- Familiar with antigen/protein design and characterization technology; comprehensive and complete preclinical research experience;
- Have good planning, execution, analysis and reporting of preclinical effectiveness, safety and toxicology research;
- Familiar with the ICH-GCP guidelines and Chinese clinical application requirements; domestic successful IND experience is preferred;
- Have good project management, communication, coordination and planning organization capabilities; have multi-threaded management capabilities.
