Our Client is one of the Global leaders in Market Research, Data and Insights Solutions

The Ideal Candidate will be a key business growth driver for our Client. This person should have excellent industry exposure in a senior sales function with plenty of experience in people management. This person should be able to deal with a fast-paced environment and a large workload to succeed.

The Role

  • Manage a team of up to 20 sales persons
  • Perform regular analysis of sales data to develop better understanding of strategic levers and communicate key findings with team members to ensure greater sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Design and implement strategic plans for Key Accounts and BD Accounts by accurately positioning products to each department
  • Chair weekly sales update meetings with individuals and teams and develop detailed performance updates based on sales, pipeline and daily activity done towards achieving targets
  • Develop presentations for meetings and conferences based on sales performance
  • Interact with key clients to facilitate the sale into key accounts and BD accounts
  • Report sales performance to the Head of APAC Sales
  • Support the sales team through operational management such as assigning accounts, obtaining approvals on discounts and pricing etc.
  • Act as a coach for the sales team
  • Carry and own Singapore sales targets for each key industry

The Individual

  • Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in any field
  • 12+ years of experience in Sales in the knowledge industry with extensive Management experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Excellent at oral communication
  • Ability to discern patterns and draw business-related inferences from data
  • High level of integrity required
  • Knowledge of Sales Force CRM is desirable, though not essential
