Sales Executive

Job description

My clients are within the logistics industry providing comprehensive logistics solutions. They are a global company operating in more than 20 countries. They are looking to hire enthusiastic Sales Executive and Japanese speaking Sales Executive to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct business development activities to acquire new leads and converting them to potential clients adding to the revenue stream
  • Meet and exceed sales targets to maximize revenue monthly
  • Prepare RFQs and tender bids while maintaining records of sales progress, visits and customer requirements and details
  • Liaise with the different teams to ensure timely execution of customer quotation
  • Build and maintain professional client relationships and report on sales progress to the management regularly

Key Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 2 years or more of sales experience ideally in 3PL Logistics or Freight forwarding or e-commerce with an excellent track record of sales achievement
  • Experience in conducting business development activities and/or managing client accounts is highly desirable
  • Able to gather customer requirements and communicate service information to clients
  • Able to work independently with solid sales and customer service approach
  • Proficient in MS Office Word and PowerPoint
  • Since the Japanese speaking sales executive will be required to liaise directly with Japanese clients a minimum N1 JLPT proficiency is essential
