Sales Manager/Assistant Sales Manager

Job description

My clients are within the logistics industry providing comprehensive logistics solutions. They are a global company operating in more than 20 countries. They are looking to hire dynamic Assistant Sales Manager and Sales Manager to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage current customer base and conduct business development activities to generate new leads
  • Meet and exceed sales targets to maximize revenue monthly
  • Build and maintain client relationships and be able to provide SCM/logistics solutions based on their needs
  • Work on quotations, SOP, and T&C and work with relevant stakeholders to facilitate closing sales on time
  • Liaise with the operations team to resolve any customer issue in a timely manner
  • Work on an ongoing sales pipeline and review sales performance

Key Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 5 years or more of sales relevant experience in 3PL Logistics or Freight forwarding or e-commerce with an excellent track record of sales achievement
  • Experienced in conducting business development activities, managing client accounts, and coming up with sales strategies
  • Able to concisely communicate with different stakeholders as well as customers to ensure smooth operation from lead generation, proposal leading to successful closing of sale
  • Proficient in MS Office Word and PowerPoint
