Our client is a well-established company in the System Integrator business. Well known for their large array of brands and products they represent, they have a long standing history of success globally. They are now recruiting a Senior/ Sales Manager to be a part of their continual success in the APAC market.

Reporting to the Sales Director

Strategic Role
* To keep abreast of current market development in the industry
* To keep abreast of market intelligence (competitor activities, competitor pricing, industry & market trends)
* Identify new product manufacturers and develop partner relationships

Partnership Management
* Maintain relationships with key customers, partners and consultants
* Review client contractual terms, partnership agreements to safe guard company interest in projects

Sales and Client Management
* Generate new leads, qualify new opportunities from Consultants/PM and allocate leads to Account Managers
* To maintain relationship with key partners and consultants
* To develop and close projects with min project value
* To review and approve project costs and profit margin to ensure commercial viability of project bids before submission of proposals
* To review client contractual terms and highlight areas of compliance/non compliance and provide recommendations to address them (Contract Terms Checklist)
* To achieve team sales and profit margin targets
* To keep abreast of market intelligence (competitor activities, competitor pricing, industry & market trends)

Supervision Role
* Responsible for ensuring all escalated issues are resolved between internal departments and external customers
* To set the direction and timelines for Account Managers' Weekly sales Activities to ensure sales targets are met

Coaching Role
* To provide guidance and coach Account Managers in their day-to-day sales engagements

Manage and Lead Team Meetings
* To lead weekly Sales Performance and Focus Account Meetings
* To motivate Account Managers and provide guidance to achieve sales performance aligned to company's strategies
* To determine Sales Team's plan to achieve the sales target
* To ensure that Account Managers are focused and aligned to achieving the company's objectives

Skillset and Manpower Sustainability
* Review manpower plans to ensure that headcount is optimized to achieve current and future sales targets
* Review competency requirements of the Sales Team to ensure that they possess the functional competencies (product, technical, sales, leadership) to deliver their roles

* Develop marketing plan and oversees the implementation of the marketing plan
* Plan and manage Overall Marketing budget


  • Min Diploma in Business or IT or Telecommunications or Engineering
  • Min 4 years in a B2B sales in project-based or development of customised solutions environment, AND
  • With min 2 years experience in leading a Sales Team of at least 2 personnel in an system integrator environment
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Ability to work independently to achieve results

  • Ability to understand customers' needs, develop a customised sales pitch and clearly articulate the value proposition to customers
