[Semiconductor] Customer Quality Engineer - Seoul

Job Overview

This role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive quality management and technical support in the semiconductor industry. The position requires close collaboration with customers to resolve quality issues, manage risk, and ensure product reliability at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Investigate and assess abnormal issues in customer receipts, providing initial fault descriptions and coordinating cross-functional analysis and corrective actions.
• Contain and isolate defects at customer sites based on risk assessments and preliminary failure analysis.
• Monitor and support module assembly processes at customer locations, identifying potential risks and collaborating on issue resolution.
• Independently manage urgent or emergency quality issues and provide timely updates.
• Summarize and report customer quality concerns, taking ownership of resolution within assigned areas.
• Ensure all problem-solving activities align with customer expectations and quality standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Up to 3 years of experience in customer quality engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong understanding of the 8D problem-solving methodology, electronic circuits, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Korean, with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of image sensor technology is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with statistical analysis and strong reporting capabilities.
