Senior Account Executive, PR Agency (FinTech)

Job description

A global PR and Communications firm are setting up and scaling their team in Singapore. They are primarily focused on Cryptocurrency and FinTech clients. They are currently hiring Senior Account Executives.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • Crafting media strategies and executing media campaigns from start to finish
  • Ensuring all PR KPIs are met across accounts
  • Building trusted media relationships
  • Pitching press releases, op-eds and feature stories
  • Arranging and managing media interviews for clients and facilitate these meetings where appropriate
  • Supporting with researching and drafting press releases
  • Drafting pitches for features, interviews, op-eds, press releases
  • Taking responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients (6-8)
  • Leading and overseeing client calls and client relationships
  • Providing strategic counsel to clients and strategic direction to SAEs & AEs
  • Designing and delivering creative campaigns and client planning
  • Holding strong relationships with clients
  • Communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders for clients (ie client partners and stakeholders)
  • Taking responsibility for client's key performance indicators

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a PR Agency covering Technology, FinTech clients
  • Strong established relationships with journalist contacts in general but also with select top tier media publications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with client, media and other people in the network.
  • Have a track record of successfully pitching and securing coverage in tier 1 & 2 crypto, tech or mainstream media publications
  • Appreciation and interest in the Crypto space
  • Outstanding organisation with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolio
  • Degree in areas of Communications/Journalism
