Senior Accountant-Team Lead

Opportunity

Our client is a MNC in the shipping sector established for over 100 years and with operations across globe.

This role

As a Senior Accountant - Team Lead, you will joining the SG HQ finance team and supervise a team of 5-6 junior account assistant and handling full spectrum of accounting matters including AP, AR, GL functions and linear reporting. You will be responsible for monthly/quarterly/yearly financial closing activities. You will be involved and prepare management reports and dealing with various statutory boards and GST related matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and / or ACCA
  • Minimum 3 years' of full sets experience in Shipping industry
  • Experienced in supervisory function is a plus
  • Hands-on, well-organized and able to multi-tasking
  • Possess accounting system knowledge
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
