Senior Application Security Engineer

Our client is a global blockchain company providing the world's largest blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure to millions worldwide, with a focus on crypto products across trade and finance, investment and incubation, and education.

Due to headcount expansion, they are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their Security team. You will be expected to formulate source code and conduct source code security audits for web and mobile applications. You will also be responsible for identifying and verify vulnerabilities and code defects.

To qualify, you must have the following:

• Has at least 5 years of experience in Application development, with at least 2 years focused on security or source code auditing
• Strong experience in web and mobile applications, specifically Android
• Good experience in Java and popular Java frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, Grails etc.
• Good written and spoken communication skills to communicate with regional team members
• OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, CRT or other security related certifications would be an added advantage
