(Business Architecture & Enterprise Architecture Focus)
Role Overview
- We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-level initiatives with a strong focus on Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture. This role goes beyond traditional BA work and plays a key part in shaping business capabilities, operating models, and enterprise roadmaps.
- The ideal candidate will combine hands-on BA delivery with a solid understanding of enterprise-wide thinking, working closely with business leaders, architects, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis (Core BA Responsibilities)
- Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to understand business processes and pain points
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop artefacts such as:
- Business requirements documents (BRD)
- Functional specifications
- Process flows and user journeys
- Support solution design discussions and ensure requirements are clearly understood by delivery teams
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Support UAT planning, test case review, and business sign-off
Enterprise & Business Architecture Responsibilities
Support Enterprise Architecture initiatives by contributing to current-state and target-state assessments
- Develop and maintain business capability maps, value streams, and operating models
- Work with architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, principles, and roadmaps
- Contribute to business architecture artefacts and enterprise documentation
- Assist in defining target operating models and transformation roadmaps
- Support architecture governance activities and design reviews
- Provide enterprise-level impact analysis across processes, systems, and capabilities
Key Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in large or complex organisations
- Strong foundation in business analysis methodologies and best practices
- Demonstrated exposure to Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture
- Hands-on experience with capability mapping, process modelling, and enterprise analysis
- Exposure to TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks (certification is a plus)
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes (ERP, core system, digital initiatives)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior management
- Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills
