Senior DevOps Consultant

About The Role

We are partnering with a leading IT Consulting Firm to hire a Senior DevOps Consultant to for a strategic migration project with their client. This role focuses on modernising infrastructure and enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery in a regulated, high-availability setting.

Responsibilities

* Lead CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation

* Manage and maintain container platforms (Docker/OCI) and Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters

* Administer Linux systems with a focus on networking, storage, and performance

* Automate workflows and support application delivery across teams

* Ensure system observability and health using monitoring tools

* Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business and compliance needs

Requirements

* Strong Linux (RHEL preferred) and containerisation (Docker/OCI) experience

* Solid understanding of Kubernetes and OpenShift administration

* Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy, Ansible) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)

* Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD) and container migration (MTC)

* Familiarity with deploying Java microservices on OpenShift

* Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger
