Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Company
My client is an industry leader in the financial services sector, connecting buyers and sellers across multiple sectors. They are looking for a capable DevOps specialist to join their rapidly expanding tech team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of DevOps methodologies across development and architecture teams.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineers, developers, and QA teams to automate build, deployment, and release pipelines.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD tools and workflows to support agile delivery.
  • Design and support microservices architectures using containers and serverless technologies.
  • Drive automation in environment provisioning, monitoring, and logging.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to promote continuous improvement in software delivery.


Key Requirements
Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong expertise in AWS and a deep understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Hands-on experience with operating systems such as Windows Server, Amazon Linux, RHEL, and Ubuntu.
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, or C++) and scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, CloudBees, and Nexus.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and infrastructure as code.
  • Solid understanding of observability tools like OpenSearch, Grafana, Fluentbit, and CloudWatch.
  • Proven track record working in agile development environments.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Awareness of financial markets and economic trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in fast-paced settings.
