Senior Frontend Engineer (BSFI Experience Required)

About The Role

We are partnering with a large MNC to identify a Senior Frontend Engineer. The incumbent is crucial contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions that support internal broking operations and external client services. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.



Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and senior business stakeholders to align software solutions with strategic objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Apply best practices in software development, including unit testing and code reviews.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate technologies and methodologies to meet project goals.
• Take ownership of key features and drive them through the full development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5-7 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end development using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Experience using UI libraries such as Material UI or Ant Design.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite), version control systems (e.g., GitLab, GitHub), and package management.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Selenium, or Cucumber, and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools like SonarQube.
• Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including deployment and post-release support.
