Purpose

The HR Manager will work with one direct report to deliver a full spectrum Human Resources program for the three rapidly growing maritime B2B technology ventures with a total of 80-100 employees and international operations. HR will be structured as a shared service for the three ventures, and be collocated with the ventures.

The Senior HR Manager will create the overall HR strategy, policies and specific programs, and work together with a direct report to operationalise them.

Key Relations

  • Reports To: General managers of the three ventures
  • Direct report: One HR associate

Main Responsibilities

Deliver a full spectrum Human Resources program including:

  • Talent recruitment & selection
  • Learning & development
  • Performance management
  • Payroll, benefits, incentives & insurance
  • Disciplinary & grievance procedures
  • Work passes & permits
  • Work & travel visas
  • Expenses & claims
  • Employee data management
  • Leave & absence management
  • Management & relations with contractors and service providers

Experience and Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • Several years' experience working at Senior HR Manager level within a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to manage different ways of working and managing complex and ambiguous environments
  • Good interpersonal skills and comfortable with managing difficult stakeholders
  • Familiarity with local employment laws in Singapore

Additional Preferences

  • HR Experience in a technology industry
  • Experience in providing HR as a shared service
  • Strong interest and willingness to work in a start-up environment
  • Familiarity with working visa processes for China, US and EU
