Senior IT Security Specialist

Our client is a well-renowned Financial Services institution with over 40 years of company history. They provide a wide range of trading brokerage solutioning services for their clients within the banking industry.

Role description

They are currently seeking a Senior IT Security Specialist to join their IT team. Reporting to the IT Head, your responsibilities will cover the end-to-end spectrum of IT Security work, such as managing and improving the IT Risk & Governance framework & policies, as well supporting day to day IT Security Operations to ensure that the firm's trading platforms are not compromised. You will also be expected to face off with external auditors and regulators pertaining to any IT Risk issues.

To qualify, you must have the following:

  • Holds at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Cyber / information Security, including 2 years or more of experience working in the Financial Services industry
  • Strong experience and knowledge in MAS TRM guidelines / ISO 27001 / NIST to manage and improve IT Risk framework & governance
  • Proven experience in managing day to day security incidents & operations across infrastructure, systems and applications, as well as maintaining and establishing incident response playbooks
  • Holds security certifications such as CISSP, CISM etc.
  • Experience in end-to-end project management
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business users and external stakeholders including auditors & regulators
